BSA MedSoc Early Career Researcher Summer Event 2014
9 June, Cardiff University
£15 BSA Members/ £20 Non-members
9:00 – 17:00 Lunch and refreshments included.
The BSA Medical Sociology Group is pleased to announce a new event for
2014, exclusively for postgraduate and early career researchers.
The aim of this event is to provide an informal arena in which postgraduate
students and early career researchers can discuss ongoing, or recently
completed, research.
A wide range of papers will be presented, drawing from research in the
field of medical sociology and covering a wide spectrum of topics. In
addition, we are pleased to announce that Professor Gareth Williams will be
the key note speaker for this event, as well as offering a Q&A session for
attendees.
The event will run from 09:00 - 17:00 and will consist of a number of short
presentations (15min presentation, 5min discussion). Please note that lunch
will be included but attendees are encouraged to source their own
accommodation.
