Apply your knowledge management expertise at the heart of government

HM Treasury is the UK's economics and finance ministry. You'll join the Corporate Centre Group, which is taking forward a number of significant programmes to enable the Treasury to enhance its performance within a challenging budgetary environment. Part of a highly valued business engagement team, you'll work across two key information management disciplines providing knowledge management services for HM Treasury and research advisory services for both HM Treasury and the Cabinet Office.

Day-to-day, you'll develop, communicate and implement comprehensive knowledge management strategies for assigned activities, staying firmly focused on the bigger picture. Making the most of your capacity for effective teamwork, you will collaborate with key stakeholders to enable successful delivery of a range of imaginative knowledge management initiatives. At the same time, you'll actively promote processes for internal and external cooperation including capturing, sharing and exploiting knowledge.

Someone who thinks on your feet, you'll have a full understanding of knowledge management strategies and best practice and how they can be applied to deliver business effectiveness. Naturally, strong research and analysis skills are essential, particularly in open source search and retrieval. You will also have experience of working independently to deliver high quality information services to a variety of stakeholders, together with a talent for clear, persuasive communication at all levels.
