Subject: National Insurance Numbers
Hello
I've been looking at the template Temporary Event Notice application form produced by the Home Office for use by Local Authorities. The form asks for NINO's, place and date of birth.
It's my understanding that Nino's should only be collected and used for authorisation purposes. Is this correct.? That aside if this information isn't used to process or make a decision on the application it shouldn't collected at all. Am I missing something?
Thank you
Jane
