I've tried to get this working for StoRM too - but have hit two problems:
Argus mapping doesn't work for StoRM's gridftp:

And a memory leak in the frontend if argus is used to ban users:

As a side note, I believe CMS have instructions for configuring the
posix xrootd (which is the obvious one to use with StoRM),with argus,
but atlas don't.
