Hello All,
Well I'm interested to see the post generating some discussion. I thought I might address some of the points raised.
The job ad posted is a brief summary of the full job description. At this stage, I don't disclose who the client is as I much prefer people to call me if they are curious to find out more; whether they are actively looking, or passively listening to the job market. From here, we can have a confidential discussion so I can learn a little more about that persons situation, and in turn, give them full details of the role, including the company name!
Personally, I pride myself on giving the best possible advice and preparation to all my candidates (including CV formatting, ensuring their CV gets noticed by the hiring manager, interview prep, salary negotiations, etc), giving them a higher likelihood of securing the role and an attractive offer.
It does also protect us both from my competitors learning who my clients are, as this will give them a chance to pick up the role and further saturate the shortlist, making the role more competitive for my hopeful applicants.
Hopefully this gives you a little insight into how I like to work, if any of you are interested in staying in touch and keeping tabs on the job market, feel free to get in touch for a confidential discussion.
Kind regards to all,
Matt Rourke
