Hello, I`m neurologist and I don`t know how to use Terminal UNIX.
Following the instructions, I`ve installed FSL Library Software. I`m able to watch my nii files in fslview, and process with BET.
But, I`m trying to run SIENA software, for brain atrophy analysis of two MR in different times (the reason why I`ve installed FSL), but there seems to be a trouble when i write the script, I don`t know if I have to write the command with any quotation mark or parenthesis, or neither with .nii.gz extension.
I`m doing the following steps:
In the terminal, when i type the word siena and click enter, there appears information about "usage", with the different options available (-b, -t2, -d and stuff).
Then, following the instructions to run Siena, I wrote down in a literal way:
siena 1005.nii.gz 2_1005_1.nii.gz
and then i click enter.
(The name of my two files are:
1005.nii.gz and 2_1005_1.nii.gz)
But nothing happens.
In the FSL Manual it says: siena <input1> <imput2>. so I`ve tried different forms of writing down the command:
siena <1005.nii.gz> <2_1005_1.nii.gz>
siena 1005 2_1005.... etc... and so on, and so on.
And nothing happens.
Please, I`m in a hurry and I need any help. I have the suspicion that there`s a small mistake in the writing of the command, but I don`t know where. Try to explain me in a very very simple way, cause I dont have familiarity with Mac nor Terminal (in fact, knowing the file names, i want you to write down the exact command that I need to run siena. The files are in the same directory).
Thanks so much.
Dr. Luis Rodrìguez.
