Hi Ramesh,
My thesis examined disabled women's access to sexual and reproductive health. I finished it in 2010. If the thesis itself isn't any use to you, the bibliography might be. I'll forward it to you early next week.
Kind regards,
Róisín

Subject: Request for resources on psychiatric survivor/consumer advocacy "best practices"
Dear all,
I am working on a literature review about "best practices" (not my choice of words) of psychiatric survivor/consumer led and run advocacy groups for my part-time job. My review looks at local, national, and international survivor led advocacy organizations and examines their core values, key principles, organizational structures, advocacy activities, what works and what does not work in their efforts, what makes them to come together in the first place and sustain the advocacy momentum, etc. I am particularly looking for "transferrable/overarching" values, principles, etc.
I would very much appreciate if you know strong psychiatric survivor/consumer advocacy organizations that engage in meaningful & transformative advocacy work and let me know about them. Bonus points if you know of any that are actually run by/led racialized people or immigrants in North America or Western Europe!
Thank you.onar usar.
