Dear all,
this is not transport-specific, but it occurred to me that it might be of interest to some colleagues on the list who are using ABM and interested in the potential contribution of qualitative data to the modelling process.
best wishes
Rachel
Using Qualitative Data to Develop Rules for Agent-Based Modelling: a work in progress webinar
Dear all,
We are looking for participants in a webinar to be held one afternoon sometime during the first two weeks of June. The webinar will focus on work in progress that is using qualitative data to develop rules for ABM. The format is likely to involve short (10-20 minute) presentations, with plenty of time for discussion, comments, and reflection. You could participate by offering a short presentation, or by joining in the discussions following the presentations. If you are interested, please email Rachel at [log in to unmask] and Melania at [log in to unmask], saying why you are interested and whether you would like to offer a presentation. (You will need a good Internet connection, a headset and up to date Java to participate).
We are looking forward to meeting you in June.
Sincerely yours,
Rachel Aldred, University of Westminster, UK
Melania Borit, University of Tromsø, Norway (ESSA SIG Qual2Rule organizer)
