Speakers: Professor David Arnold (Emeritus Professor, University of Warwick) and Professor Alison Bashford (Vere Harmsworth Professor of Imperial and Naval History, University of Cambridge).
This event, where there will be talks, debate and discussion, is organised by the World History Cluster (History Department, School of Arts, Languages and Cultures) and the Humanitarian and Conflict Response Institute, University of Manchester. it will be followed by a drinks reception at the adjacent Contact Theatre.
