Dear all
I wanted to share a Kickstarter project with you that I'm involved in.
Last year at Library Camp East I ran a session inviting people to contribute to an A to Z of all the positive things that libraries do, to highlight that even though books are the core focus of libraries, libraries are so much more than this.
The list we produced (and people added to later on) is now being used as the basis for a crowd funded promotional/advocacy Library A to Z, which was launched today. If the funding target is met, the main aim is to produce a set of illustrations produced by a professional illustrator (that anyone can use), along with full colour illustrated books with accompanying text and postcards. If you donate any money to this project you will also receive a range of rewards, starting at a public thanks in the book. We only have 30 days to raise the money, starting from today.
More details about the project can be found at: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1875601273/library-a-to-z-illustrations-book-and-advocacy-too
Thank you for any support you can give,
Gary Green
