Hi Sharon,
You would expect the direct link
http://search.ebscohost.com/login.aspx?profile=ehost to default to
authenticating using the other institution's IP address, but the EZproxy
link
https://ezp.napier.ac.uk/login?url=http://search.ebscohost.com/login.aspx?profile=ehost
should get the user to your institution's content on EBSCO. Perhaps you
need to check it's configured correctly. From here it's redirecting to
your institution's login page, but you might need to check it's working
after logging in.
Cheers,

She first tried to use the following URL: https://ezp.napier.ac.uk/login?url=http://search.ebscohost.com/login.aspx?profile=ehost . She also tried the direct link http://search.ebscohost.com/login.aspx?profile=ehost but this defaulted to show the content provided by the other university and didn't allow her the option to log in via Shibboleth. She even reports that her laptop defaults to the other institution's EBSCO content offering from her home wifi. She has cleared caches etc.
