I am using the following parameters at a Siemens Verio 3 T in an epi sequence:
TE = 0.036 s
TR = 2 s
Number of Voxels: X 128 ; Y 120; Z 17
Field of View (mm): 191 ; 179 ; 34
k-space coverage (%): 75
flip angle (deg): 76
Number of Volumes: 1
Gap (mm): 0
BW/pixel = 1396 and Echo Spacing (s) = 0.00096
Maximal gradient strength (T/m) : 0.045 (per axis)
Minimum rise time (s) : 0.000225
To achieve the echo spacing of 0.00096 s in the Possum-Gui a BW of 168770 Hz is needed. This is given by the number of pixels in phase encoding direction (120) times BW/pixel. All well and good so far but those parameters did not pass the consistency check of Possum. I informed my self that it is reasonable to modify the scanner properties in order to achieve consistency (see https://www.jiscmail.ac.uk/cgi-bin/webadmin?A2=ind1203&L=FSL&P=R12453&1=FSL&9=A&I=-3&J=on&d=No+Match%3BMatch%3BMatches&z=4). Unfortunately I can not achieve consistency without changing BW and by that the echo spacing. How should I proceed?
