Subject: Invitation to Tender: Asylum/Human Rights Expert on Somalia needed
Apologies for cross posting, but a panel of which I am the Chair, the Independent Advisory Group on Country Information, is tendering for a country expert on Somalia to review the new UK Home Office Country Information and Guidance Report.
The Invitation to Tender can be found here:
Applications are due by April 25, 2014. Notification of selection will take place by April 28, and reviews will be due 30 May.
This is a very good opportunity to have a say on the accuracy, timeliness, and balance of information products used in the consideration of asylum cases in the UK. It is not expected that the reviewer will comment on the content of the policy, as that is outside the mandate of the IAGCI.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
All the best,
Dr Laura Hammond
