Hi all,

Thank you very much to anyone who has responded to the race charter mark consultation which closes today.

We will be analysing all of the responses from the consultation and making appropriate changes to the framework and process over the next six weeks.

In the meantime, I wanted to alert you to the charter mark trial. We welcome applications from institutions to take part in the trial of the race equality charter mark. Applying is a fairly short process, and does not require too much information, but we will need the application to be endorsed by a representative at your institution who is at least Pro Vice Chancellor level or equivalent.

The trial will take place over the next year, and we anticipate trial participants submitting an application for the charter mark in April 2015.
