Thanks for the feedback. I might have to reconsider connecting to IT 1000.

Hi

Yes I have had major problems. The main issue is the operator lists on the machines just disappear. The QC data has to be entered on the hemocue exactly the same every time or that too can cause the operator lists to disappear. I believe I am on the latest driver and Roche said the problems were down to the hemocue but we sent the hemocue back to be investigated and they found no fault.

I have had no connection problems as such though.

Cheers

Hi Lisa-Marie,

We struggled with this connection for a while before eventually going with the Radiometer (HemoCue's parent company) solution of using Aqure software. The HemoCue devices will only connect once there is some data to send or once they are docked; there is no way we have found to force them to connect on a regular interval e.g. every 30 minutes. I think Roche may have a new IT1000 driver for HemoCue so it may be worth checking you are using the latest one?

We have successfully connected two separate third party devices to IT1000 and these work very well with all user access and patient results transferred as expected.

Thanks,

Chris Wright

Hi,

I was wondering if anyone has connected HemoCue Hb 201 DM to Cobas It 1000 and if so what functionality to you have, what problems if any have you encountered etc.

Any feedback on connecting other third party devices to IT 1000 would be appreciated.

Kind regards,

Lisa-Marie
