Dear SPMers,
I have a mask created in Anatomy Toolbox and would like to add to it another brain area (an anatomical region of interest) which is not available within the Anatomy Toolbox.
I went to MarsBar, selected this brain area from marsbar_aal_0.2 and exported it in ‘nii’ format. I then converted this file into analyze format using itk-snap software. Finally, I used InCalc in SPM5 to add the two image files together (i1 + i2), so that I have one mask, but I got the following message from SPM5:
“Warning: images don't all have same dimensions - using those of 1st image

Done.”
I am assuming here that it is important that both images have the same dimensions, orientation and voxel size, which they clearly do not have. Therefore, I am wondering whether there is a way of changing (or creating) the file sourced from MarsBar, so that it exactly matches the file from Anatomy Toolbox and can be added to it using InCalc in SPM5?
If not, perhaps there is an alternative approach I can take here? I certainly would like to use the mask from the Anatomy Toolbox, but I am not constrained here by how the additional region is created, except that it needs to be based on anatomical ROI.
Many thanks,
Agnieszka
