Dear Max,
Another thing you should not forget is that all those alternative
solutions - geometrically - are topologically identical - represent the
same graph. Therefore the results of a topological centrality analysis
on either solution will be the same.
In small highly regular and/or simmetrical plans this type of graph
isomorphism is quite likely to occur, as others have pointed out. It is
not necessarily a problem as long as your analysis remains purely
topological. If you start using geometric weights, such as angles, the
story might be different...
