Hi Adam,
Not an ulna and not animal but there is an illustration of a musket ball
lodged in the head of a soldier's humerus (Napoleonic Wars) in
Raymond Hurt 2008 George Guthrie. Soldier and Pioneer Surgeon. Royal
Society Medicine Press. page 178.
Regards,
Philip

Subject: [ZOOARCH] musket ball trauma to bone
Dear all,
Does anyone know of any studies into musket ball trauma, particularly
injuries to the trabecular/spongy bone at the ends of bones? I have an
animal bone that has an oval shaped depression at the proximal ulna with
some crushed bone within the depression.
Thanks, Adam Heinrich
