Dear Ricardo Johnson,
In my book, Foreign Players and Football Supporters : the Old Firm, Paris Saint-Germain, Arsenal, I talk in one part about the fact that it is through the initiative of Highbury residents who are fans of Arsenal that the Emirates stadium was built in the vicinity, at Ashbury Grove. If my memory serves me well, these residents did an impact study too. It was irrelevant for my topic but would be relevant for you.
So if you think you would be able to get on with fans of the Arsenal, try to get into touch with them.

I received the following request for information from Ricardo Johnson.
If you can help in anyway please contact him directly NOT via the SSG mailing list.
Hello, My name is Ricardo Johnson (Ricardo Johnson <[log in to unmask]>).
I am a resident of Tottenham, north London. I am trying to get some information as I am part of a local group investigating the impact of Tottenham Hotspurs FC’s plans to build a new stadium and how it impacts on the local community – especially those living within close proximity of the stadium.
I am particularly in the relationship between football clubs local residents, local supporters, community groups, schools, small local businesses etc.
I would love to speak with someone on this issue, to see if there are any comparative studies or research done in other regions of Europe, and how this compares to North London.
Please contact me if you have any info, or know someone how can assist with this project.
Look forward to your response.
Regards
Ricardo Johnson
