Dear MECCSA Colleagues,
A friendly reminder that the March 31 Proposal Deadline for 'FILM AND MEDIA 2014: The Fourth Annual London Film and Media Conference' (26-28 June 2014) is now coming into view.
Proposals for 20-minute Papers and three-Paper Panels are invited on a wide range of topics in relation to our central theme, 'Visions of Identity: Global Film & Media'.
Proposals are made via our website form and are considered via sympathetic Peer Review within a week. For all relevant details, and for a full listing of the more than 100 Papers already accepted from nearly 30 countries, please visit us at www.thelondonfilmandmediaconference.com.
Keynote Speakers: Professor Larry Grossberg (University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill), Professor Mandy Merck (Royal Holloway, University of London) and Professor Daya Thussu (University of Westminster).
The site also makes available free downloads of our Conference Readers, and news of our next ebook, 'The London Film and Media Reader 3: The Pleasures of the Spectacle', which comprises 60 essays from around the world drawn from Papers presented at last year’s event.
With all best wishes,
Sincerely,
Phillip.
