If your items are barcoded it could be a quick way for shelvers to keep track if usage.

Subject: Journals evaluation
Hi All Lis-Linkers,
We are currently evaluating our hard copy journal use and are looking for innovative methods of doing so.
So far we have tried the traditional:
* Putting slips in current journals/past copies
* Surveyed learners (what journals do you use? etc.)
* Met with teaching staff
Obviously we are building up a steady picture of usage from these methods but if anyone has any innovative ways of gathering such information, we'd like to hear from you.
Kind regards
Mark Ludlam
