Nottingham Trent University's School of Art and Design will be hosting a free workshop on 13th May 2014 to discuss non-standard research outputs. The workshop aims to exchange knowledge about the online archiving of non-text based research. While the online archiving in repositories of books, journal articles and conference papers is relatively straightforward, those from arts and design related research present a number of challenges.
The workshop will provide a valuable opportunity to share and create opportunities to develop online archiving practice for anyone working in institutional repositories, libraries, museums and galleries, as well as education and research administration. Researchers in archiving, collections, digitisation, materiality and related fields are warmly welcome.
