This is our second call to invite you to participate in the 2014 edition of the 'Central Mediterranean Prehistory Day of Studies' to be held at Newcastle University on Wednesday 28th May 2011. If you wish to present a paper we still have a few spaces available. Could you please send us as a title and 250 words abstract soon as possible, and in any case no later than 15th April. If you want to bring a poster or just turn up and join in with the discussions, we would love to hear from you anyway as this would help us with the event's organisation.
 
As announced in the first call, we are able to provide lunch plus teas and coffees to all participants free of charge. We will also be able to contribute £60 towards the travel costs of up to 10 speakers.

Here is some information about travel and accommodation. Please note that different arrangements might be available (in particular floor space for students). Do feel free to speak with us if you are unsure about the options below. 

Travelling

Newcastle University is easily accessible via public transport. The nearby Haymarket Station is connected via bus and Metro to both Newcastle Central Station and Newcastle Airport.
If you arrive by car follow the signs towards City Centre (North). On-campus parking is generally not available, but there are several public and NCP car parks within walking distance (please refer to the map provided).
