- Collaborative Approaches to Diversity in Conflict Settings (5-9 May 2014, Cluj-Napoca, Romania) 

The Collaborative Approaches to Diversity in Conflict Settings (CoSCAD) is a 5-day Advanced Certificate Programme (ACP) with a hands-on approach focusing on 'walking the walk while doing the talk', namely on preparing peace workers to deliver quality training and facilitation programmes using both the substance and methods of peacebuilding. The substance component will include fundamental peacebuilding training from a conflict transformation point of view, sessions on gender, social class, ethnicity, nationality, race, religion  and exploring identity as power, as multitude and as challenge. The programme will frame all these topics from the point of view of the training and facilitation process which includes preparation, delivery, evaluation and follow-up and will be based on hands-on experience, reflection and sharing among the training team, participants and others.

- Designing and Implementing Effective Monitoring & Evaluation for Peacebuilding & Peace Support Operations (3-5 April 2014, Cluj-Napoca, Romania)

This three-day intensive Executive Leadership Program has been designed for senior practitioners, monitoring & evaluation units, field staff, and heads of agencies working in peacebuilding and peace support operations - including crisis management; violence prevention; mediation, peacemaking and peace processes during armed conflict; peacebuilding and development; post-war recovery and reconciliation; UN missions; and demobilization, disarmament and reintegration programmes.

The programme has been designed to assist organisations, agencies and missions in the field to see how to develop appropriate monitoring & evaluation systems and processes customized for their exact needs and contexts.

Deadline for applications:
March 17th for Applicants who DO NOT NEED a Romanian Visa [Moderator's note: the deadline for applicants who need a Romanian visa has passed].
