Dear list members,
If this could be circulated to relevant final year undergraduates, it would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you!

This Autumn Birkbeck launches a new MA in Social and Cultural Geography, an innovative Masters programme designed to allow students to strengthen their understanding of social and spatial inequality, cultural processes of meaning construction and its political implications, and expertise in research methodologies.
Dr. Paul Watt, GEDS's Senior Lecturer in Urban Studies and a contributor to the MA, is involved in the 'Living Maps' seminars, a series of events exploring new directions in critical cartography. Organised by the Living Maps Network, the series is part of a programme of initiatives designed to produce a re-mapping of East London's past, present and future.
We have two tickets available for each of the four seminars making up the Summer Seminars:
- Seminar 4: Marginalised Bodies, Liminal Spaces, May 13th
- Seminar 5: Constructing New Geographies, June 10th
- Seminar 6: Communities of Resistance, July 8th
- Seminar 7: Mapping the Future, July 22nd
We are offering a ticket to successful applicants to our MA Social and Cultural Geography course, on a first-come, first-served basis. Please indicate your preference on your application form.
