Thanks for this Ewan, it appears that for both fcntl or flock support on
lustre we have to mount with either 'flock' option (cluster-wide
consistent locking) or 'localflock' (node-consistent locking only).
I didn't test with glexec using fcntl for locking though before I turned
on the flock mount option, so I'm relying on posts on the lustre mailing
list for this information.
