Hello
Just a few thoughts to add to Graham's comments.
We have wifi throughout the public areas of the museum and in a couple of offices.
In addition to the open public account, that has a login with user name and password on the login page, we have accounts for different departments and one for guests at events. These extra accounts ensure uninterrupted wifi for Skype etc.
Our user level has risen steadily over the two years since we installed it and we'd say don't be put off by slow take up at first. We started with quite a high limit on the broadband line and have recently increased it.
Being a local authority it was essential we kept the wifi network totally separate from the main council network!
