Thanks for the quick response. I'm familiar with the paper, and Fig 1 was exactly what I had in mind when I mentioned I thought it was possible that regions that were not significant before in vox_p now pop up after in tfce_corrp. I just don't have a feel yet for how much improvement is too much, and becomes a reason to worry. But if I understood you correctly, no one has reported such situation?
I agree with your intuition about the layout of my original vox_p data. So, if we extrapolate from that, the more spikes like the intermediate ones in Fig1b, the bigger the increase in significant regions...
