Surviving and Thriving in Academic Libraries - ARLG East Midlands Workshop
Are you facing changes in your organisation or to your role? Do you feel unsure how to handle the change and uncertainty, at the same time as maintaining excellent customer service? This workshop will provide a safe environment to consider how we as individuals are affected, exploring tools and techniques to build resilience at times of change and stress.
Who will benefit?
Anyone who wishes to develop their skills in making the most of change and supporting colleagues who are experiencing change or stress
The workshop will be held on Wednesday 2nd April and will be led by Diana Edmonds from Bridgford Consultancy
Diana has extensive experience of delivering development programmes for the public, private and voluntary sectors and has worked with library and information services on many occasions.

Details
Coffee and registration will be available from 9.30 a.m. and commences at 10.00 a.m. and will conclude at 4.00 p.m. The Venue is the recently built Enterprise Centre at the University of Derby, Bridge Street, Derby, DE1 3LD. http://www.derby.ac.uk/enterprisecentre/
Parking: There will be limited spaces onsite, although there are public car parks available approximately ten minutes' walk away. Public transport is available via a regular bus service from Derby Railway Station.

The deadline for bookings is Midday on Tuesday March 18th.
Please note that if you cancel your booking after the deadline, or book and cannot attend on the day, if you are unable to send a substitute in your place, you will be charged the full price.
The Cost: £95 for CILIP members and £110 for non-members of Cilip, (both rates incl. VAT.) Lunch and Tea & Coffee is included in this price.
