ALISS (Association of Librarians and Information professionals in the Social Sciences). are pleased to announce an opportunity to visit the Library and archive of the City of London School. This is a unique opportunity to learn more about school librarianship in a historic institution.
It is located at 107 Queen Victoria Street

The visit will incorporate a tour of the service, archives and an opportunity to meet staff and here about their work.
The draft programme is
ALISS visitors to arrive at 2 pm.
Light refreshments will be provided in the Asquith Room.
Terry Heard Archivist will give a brief talk at about 2.15 on the history of CLS.
Visitors will then be taken on a tour of the School.
Tour will finish in the Library / Archive
Afternoon Tea and Coffee will be available in the Library at 4 pm.
There is no charge for ALISS Members.
