Canterbury Christ Church University is seeking to appoint a Library Systems Officer (e-resources).
As part of the systems team you will be responsible for administering, monitoring and managing electronic resources, including procurement, authentication, access and other technical issues.
You will be responsible for the maintenance of these resources, including ordering, renewal and cancellation of subscriptions, and will play a key role in the maintenance, upgrade and support of e-resource systems, including Primo, MetaLib and SFX.
You should be a graduate, preferably with a library or information studies qualification, with demonstrable experience and knowledge in e-resources management, including licensing and authentication aspects. It is essential that you are an excellent communicator, with good organisational skills, and a commitment to delivering a high quality service to students and staff.
