Research Fellow
University of St Andrews -School of Geography & Geosciences
Longitudinal Studies Centre for Scotland
Fixed term: 16 months
Start: As soon as possible
This is an exciting opportunity to join the Longitudinal Studies Centre for Scotland under the leadership of Professor Chris Dibben. We are seeking a highly motivated quantitative researcher who will join a research programme, funded by the Scottish Government, looking at young people who are not in employment, education or training (NEETs). We are interested in trying to understand the factors that put young people at risk of being in this state in their late teens and exploring its long term impact on their future health, wellbeing and labour market participation.
This post would suit a quantitative researcher from any social science discipline but we are particularly looking for someone confident in the use of longitudinal statistical techniques.
This post is for 16 months starting as soon as possible and will be based in Edinburgh.
