Hi Satu,
We had a similar issue on campus due to the site opening in compatibility mode in I.E.
For us, WoS goes through our proxy server and I.E. detects this as an intranet site. In our compatibility view settings in I.E. intranet sites are set to open in this mode. Disabling compatibility mode for this site helped for us.
This can be changed temporarily turned off for the current site in Tools -> Compatibility View or adjusted permanently in Tools -> Compatibility View Settings (however there might be a reason why compatibility mode is enabled in your I.E.).
This might not be the case for odd WoS behaviour in your instance but it seemed to be the case for us.
Thanks,
Chris

Subject: [lis-e-resources] The new WoS and IE
Hello everyone,
Have people had a chance to play with the new Web of Science interface yet?
Those of you who have, is it working OK on Internet Explorer? We are experiencing problems at our site (e.g. some buttons are not displaying at
all) but find WoS is OK with Chrome and Firefox.
Thanks
Satu
