I used an iPhone during my fieldwork in Cairo conducting walking interviews. I could not find a paw infix app for my needs, so I used a combination of gps tracking apps, photographs with coordinates and waypoint markers. You can then use google fusion tables to combine the data.
It has been on my mind to develop an iPhone app for this myself. Perhaps we can have a chat about it.
