St George’s Library is a busy, multi-disciplinary health sciences library serving users from St George’s University of London, Joint Faculty of Health and Social Care Sciences and Education and staff of the NHS.
We are looking for a highly motivated LIS professional with experience of healthcare or academic library work to help support NHS staff, both on-site and those working remotely. You will be part of a small, busy team, based at St George’s University of London in Tooting.
You will need excellent communication skills as well as experience of searching complex databases and Information Skills training. You will need to deal with users with a diverse range of needs and have some understanding of the NHS. Flexibility, as well as being able to work independently and using your initiative are crucial.
