That's interesting Kate, as we are a Voyager library but have not been
adding GMD to RDA records. This doesn't seem to affect our searching,
frontline staff have been quite happy and there has been no impact on
users as far as we can tell. We use the Voyager OPAC (which we call our
Newton catalogue) but do also have a discovery layer (Aquabrowser) which
many users prefer to use and which does not use GMD at all but rather
takes information about format from the Leader/006/007, etc.
