The CNRS (French National Center for Scientific Research) is recruiting several researchers in 2014. This is a national highly competitive recruitment process based on qualifications (at least a PhD) and research experience (quality of research work, publications, originality of the long term research project).
Basically the recruitment is national and then the researcher chooses his/her lab in agreement with the lab's director.
LET encourages applications in the fields of transport economics, transport and land use modeling, cities and complex system (multi-agent) modeling, urban logistics. The deadline for applications is 6th January 2014.

These are full time civil servant research positions ("chargé de recherche" / associate scientists 1st class or 2nd class). Researchers may also supervise Ph.D. students and post-doctoral fellows, research teams, lead scientific projects, teach, and participate in technology transfer based on their research results.
