Subject: Semi-structured interviews by telephone
Dear all (with apologies for cross-posting)
Does anyone know of a qualitative interviewing training course, or books/articles, that addresses building rapport in telephone interviews?
I am due to do telephone interviews on a sensitive topic (among people recently diagnosed with Chlamydia), which for feasibility reasons will have to be done over the phone – including consent – so my only opportunity to build rapport is within the interview itself.
Thanks in advance for any help
Catherine
