Edinburgh College of Art is delighted to invite you to attend the inaugural lecture of the prestigious Andrew Carnegie Lecture Series with PROFESSOR JAMES ELKINS, Art Historian and Art Critic, School of the Art Institute of Chicago.

Thursday 16th January 2014
10.00am - 1.00pm
PROFESSOR JAMES ELKINS will lead a lecture on "The worldwide dissemination and theorization of the practice-led PhD" - this is open to all staff and PhD students.
ECA Main Building, Sculpture Court, Lauriston Campus, Edinburgh. This is not ticketed but seating is limited.

Thursday 16th January 2014
5.30pm - 7.00pm (lecture, Q&A and drinks reception) The Playfair Library, Old College, Southbridge, Edinburgh, EH8 9YL.
PROFESSOR JAMES ELKINS on " Limits of the discussion of writing in Art History".
