Subject: Wordpress support needed
Hello everyone
Please could you forward this request to the friendliest, most capable and amiable person in your IT/Media department. Or to your friend who is a computer whizz!
DHG is a volunteer powered professional network that supports the practice of participation, audience development, equality, diversity and social justice. We rely on help from our members and their organisations to sustain us. Right now we are in a bit of a pickle as we are nearly ready to launch membership in our London region but we have some technical difficulties.
We are asking for the support of one of our member organisations to help us get launch ready. We need someone very experienced in wordpress especially in managing plug in conflicts (we think this is one of our problems). If possible experience of using paypal online would be great Also someone who can teach us how to use some aspects of our plug ins and make changes to the wordpress site - as we have been left in the lurch by one of our developers.
We don't think our techie problems are running into weeks and weeks of time - but we need a little bit of help to get us past this hurdle. Even if you cannot support us right now. If you can support in the near future please contact us.
We will repay your organisational support for us. Perhaps through institutional membership or we will find other ways to thank you.
Please pass this round, even if you think it is a no chancer, as there are some mighty fine helpful people out there!
Thanks
Tracy-Ann
