medieval-religion: Scholarly discussions of medieval religion and culture
Illustribus,
I'm in the process of putting together a reader about the medieval devil. While I have lots of great material from many different communities of practice, I do not have very much stuff on the comedic devil.
Can anyone point me to some good medieval (i.e. <1500) examples of the devil as a figure of comedy or in literature or in drama?
Thanks,
Richard
