Middlesex University has been commissioned by the British Standards Institution to run a research project on how students in FE, HE and in private companies are taught about standards. We need to talk to academic/teaching staff, librarians and students to build up a picture of who is teaching, what and how they are teaching and, where possible, the impact this has, so we can then make recommendations to the BSI about what they might do to help in the future.
Key for us to get started are contacts to talk to and to survey. So I'm in on the project because I said I was sure Librarians would be able to help. (Please don't let me down!)
What I need are names of academic/teaching/training staff and library staff you think can help us, their role, their email and their phone. (This could be you of course.) We will contact them sensitively and if they do not wish to participate, that will be fine.
Your help and assistance in this is much appreciated. If you need more information or have any questions please ask.
Apologies to anyone on other mailing lists who may already have seen this.
Many thanks
