I'm conducting a TBSS analysis, comparing three groups of subjects (2 patient groups and 1 healthy controls group).
I've done all the steps required for the TBSS analysis and now I want to compare them using an ANOVA design.
I thought to set the design matrix with 3 columns, 1 for each group, a column of all ones to account for mean signal differences and N (where N>=3) columns of covariates.
I want to use a single f-test and a contrast like this:
-2 1 1 0 0 …
-1 0 1 0 0 …
-1 1 0 0 0 …
0 -1 1 0 0 …
Now the problem is that I've to create the design matrix but, as I understood, the only way is to use the GUI command Glm.
The subjects are 60 (20 for each group), so I have to construct manually a matrix with at least 60*6 = 360 values that should be copied manually.
I know the existence of a command "design_ttest2" to prepare the design matrix for a t-test analysis.
I would like to know, because I wasn't able to find it, if exist a command (not GUI) to create my desired design matrix starting from, for example, a text file.
