Hi all,
Following on from the discussions at the ops meeting this morning, these
changes have been made to the Approved VOs document at
https://www.gridpp.ac.uk/wiki/GridPP_approved_VOs
1) EarthScience is now listed as an Approved VO, but its records are not
present in the ops portal and it is not published or maintained
automatically.
2) All trace of cedar, na48, babar, minos and supernemo have been removed.
3) All trace of the DNS style camont.gridpp.ac.uk is gone. The simply
named "camont" stays.
4) enmr.eu is now listed as an Approved VO, and its records are
published and maintained in the standard manner via VomsSnooper.
5) Landslides is now listed as an Approved VO, and its records are
published and maintained in the standard manner (the port in the
operations portal has been corrected).
6) vo.helio-vo.eu is hosted at GridPP VomsServers, but is not an
Approved VO, and its records are omitted.
7) The SNO VO not longer listed, as it has morphed into SNOPLUS (note:
from an admin POV, it is far easier to "reuse" an existing VO name
rather than (a) starting a new name or (b) renaming an old one as was
done with SNO. Adding a VO is an expensive procedure, and a rename is
essentially an add with an extra delete, while reuse creates zero work.)
Cheers for all your help, and sorry for dragging out the meeting. I've
incremented the Accuracy metric from 90% to 91%! Please let me know if
any further changes are needed.
Steve
