The way to do this is not to use the normalize button (as your atlas is
already normalized) but to normalize your individuals to the atlas and
then use the inverted deformation field from that procedure to warp the
atlas back to the individual image. The bounding box should not have to
be touched for this to work. If you search the archives for inverse
normaliztion, warp back, invert deformation field and some other
keywords, you will find sufficient information on how to achieve that.
