Hi
Our university is about to edge towards the 21st century by introducing online submission and plagiarism checks of assessed coursework.
At present we are weighing up the pros and cons of Safeassign, or paying for Turnitin (we run Blackboard SP13, externally hosted). I have seen on here before a few people who had some problems with Turnitin (especially their user support and submission of text as an image), but wonder if anyone has any other comments/specific issues regards Turnitin - how good is the building block for BB; do you require hard copies of coursework as well as electronic copies; any issues regards submitting large files/videos?
Also, is anyone using Safeassign (or any other plagiarism software) and are willing to share their experiences?
Many thanks in advance!
Best
Chris
