The speaker will be Professor John Cook from Glasgow Caledonian University who will be speaking on
Unfolding Texts: Form, Transatlantic Influence and the 'Problem' of Seriality in writing Contemporary 'High-End' TV Drama-
Professor Cook is author of the first academic study of the plays and films of Dennis Potter (Dennis Potter: A Life on Screen, 1995; 1998) and has also done intensive research into the work of film and TV director Peter Watkins (The War Game 1965; Edvard Munch 1973)
