**Open Educational Resources (OER): an introduction**
With budgets being constantly squeezed and information professionals striving to locate and utilise the best resources for their customers, OER can aid and enhance what a library has to offer.
The workshop will cover the basics with an introduction to OER, where to find OERs and what to consider if you embark upon creating your own OERs including a demonstration and question and answer session on SMILE.
