SUMMARY: As part of the celebrations of the 250th anniversary of the publication of Bayes theorem, the Environmental Statistics Section of the Royal Statistical Society is holding a meeting exploring modern applications of Bayes theorem in environmental problems. There will be talks from a range of speakers, from committed Bayesians to more critical practitioners.
