The Women's Engineering Society annual networking event is taking place on 4 October 2013 at IMechE in London. This is a great day out for all women working in engineering (men are welcome too, of course), and this year the theme is energy. The conference, which offers an overview of the energy sector for the non-expert, is called Harnessing the Energy, and has sessions on all aspects of energy. CPD parallel sessions on careers in engineering, the role of STEMnet ambassadors, and a Wikipedia Edit-o-thon session will also take place on the day. Early bird registration rates are still available at www.wes.org.uk/energy.
